I know that this is an issue that has been given some attention. However, none of the threads actually have resolution. If the use of the Network Configuration Operators group is bugged, then MS should say so. Haven't seen a KB concerning the issue. Or a statement. We have XP SP3 and Win7 Pro desktops on the domain. I can go from one to the other and the Policy setting is simply not working on Win7. XP no problem. In fact we installed some Vista machines last year and they worked fine with no change to the policy. Just make the machine a member of the OU and all is well. We have tried everything to resolve this problem!?! Must we go back to XP or Vista to achieve this. Anybody have any luck with third-party run-as or scripting to allow standard users to change TCP/IP properties?? Cheers, Max
