Network: Internet works but Browsers don't
There's a problem with my Network in which the Internet is working but I can't access the Internet through Firefox or Internet Explorer. Chat programs such as AIM, ICQ, as well as games which require the Internet can still access the Internet, however, the browsers just do not work. I can temporarily fix this problem by resetting my router but shortly after the reset the problem happens again.I'm using a Verizon DSL PPoE connection through a Westell Router (2200) that is bridged via connection to a Belkin Router (F5D7230-4) set as Dynamic, with WEP security and MAC address filtering for all of the computers using the network. If anyone has a similar setup, let me know, and I'm working with Windows XP.1 person needs an answerI do too

Did you set the Belkin as a switch with an Access Point?Since your Westell is a combo Modem/Router, it should be configure like this to avoid double Routing.Using a Wireless Router as a switch with an Access Point - http://www.ezlan.net/router_AP.html Jack, MVP-Networking. EZLAN.NET

When I change the Belkin from 192.168.2.1 to, in this case, 192.168.1.48 (the Westell goes from 192.168.1.15 to 192.168.1.47), I lost the Internet altogether, then I have to reboot Belkin to factory settings because the new IP doesn't work. Before I made changes suggested in link, I can access both routers, 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1, through wired computer. It seems to me that I have to refresh the WEP security whenever I have problem presented in original post. Is it possible there is a conflict with WEP? I wonder, I would use WPA, but one computer in network has a crappy adapter that only seems to accept WEP.Now I will try just to turn off DHCP on wirelss/router to see what happens. And that does not help anything either, hehe.
