Network-Wide logon
I was wondering if anyone knew how to make it so sombody could log on to a network from any computer connected to the network. For example:A---S---BIn this example "John" wants to log onto the network on either computer "A" or "B" with the same account name and password. "S" represents the server the accounts reside on.1 person needs an answerI do too

What you describe is basically a "Domain". The Server would be a Domain Controller. Computers would authenticate to the domain and users would authenticate to the domain. A "Domain Users" group could be created that would encompass valid domain users and each computer can be configured to allow anyone in that group to login. Note that only Windows XP Pro machines can join domains. XP Home machines can't. Some quick Googling should get you started.HTH, JW
