Need to use foreign diacritical marks for two languages (french and german).
I have Microsoft Office Standard 2007 and this does not include the language pack for these languages. I did not realize this when I bought this option and now need to know what would be the advisable options.

There are several ways to do this, some better than others. The one
most often recommended is to use the Character Map, but In my opinion,
that's the slowest, clumsiest way to do it.
I use and recommend a little freeware background program called
AllChars. This lets me type many common special characters (many of
these are used in other languages) very easily, by pressing the ctrl
key followed by a two-character mnemonic combination.
As examples of how easy they are to remember, for the two characters
are ~ and n. For it's c and , For it's u and "
Go to http://allchars.zwolnet.com/ to download it.
