Need to unlock files on old hdd used as secondary drive
My motherboard had crashed on my computer. I wanted to be able to access my hdd from that computer, so I bought in enclosure for it that allows me to hook it up to another computer via USB. My problem is I'm unable to access all the files & programs on this hdd. I had a Windows log-in password on my old computer. I know the password, but have no idea how to unlock it now. Since I can no longer use this hdd as my C drive, I can't get Windows to start-up on it, & can't get the log-in screen or find the Control Panel on this drive. Any ideas? I did have most, if not all, of my files backed-up elsewhere, but there are other thing I need to access, like my old e-mails in Outlook Express. 1 person needs an answerI do too
