Need to permanently disable a component (wireless zero configuration)
I need to permenantly disable XP wireless zero configuration.I have disabled it through component services (properties -> startup type: disabled) and this works for the next 1 or 2 times I turn on my PC but after that the startup reverts back to automatic again. This means I have to manually start up my internet every time because windows is tring to use wireless zero configuration instead of the linksys software it should be using. How do I disable this component so my internet starts up automatically with the correct software and keep it disabled?1 person needs an answerI do too

Is it really as random as being OK for 1 or 2 reboots and then going back to Automatic? On general principles, download, install, update, and run these two free antimalware scanners:MalwareBytes AntiMalwareSUPERAntiSpyware
