Need to delete .ost file
I cannot open a live connection to my Outlook 2007 email in Windows 7. I receive the following message: "Cannot open your default email folders. Outlook is using an old copy of your Online Folder (.ost). Exit Outlook, delete the .ost file, and restart Outlook. A new file will be automatically created the next time you initiate a send/receive"ginhe11 Could someone please provide me with step by step directions on how to accomplish this? Should the Cached Exchange Mode be on or off (Tools, Account Settings, Email Tab, double click on Microsoft Exchange). Thank you, Jason

You can also try this: 1. Open Outlook, Tools->Account settings->More settings->Advanced tab->Offline folder File Settings.2. Press the button "Disable offline use".3. Press OK and exit Outlook. For Outlook 2007 related issue, you can also post it in the following discussion group:http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.general&lang=en&cr=USHope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT
