Need help with basic (hopefully) DOS commands to find where a process resides
Hello,Im looking for a specific process that is defined on one of our machines, it is ran by typing the following on a command line:runmyextract z:/extracteddata.csvI would like to find the location/directoryof the process 'runmyextract'? Or is there acommand to view the code within the process? Either way would be great if its possible. Thanks ahead of time!D

Open a Command Prompt Enter cd \ Enter dir runmyextract* /s (no space between the t and the *) wait ... wait ... wait ... See if that tells you where it is located.Rich

This is not a system program. It can be provided by some third party programs.Arthur Xie - MSFT
