Need help setting up a ftp server on a Windows 7 computer
I have been trying to setup a ftp server for the past 3 days now. And every instruction that I have followed as ended up the same way. I CAN"T CONNECT TO THE SERVER THAT I SETUP. I have tried IIS ftp server, filezilla server, Ser_U and something else. I just can't get the ftp client to find the server. And I can't figure out what it is I am doing wrong here. I have a Windows 7(premium) computer at home that I would like to use as the ftp server, so that I can connect to it when I am both at home or away from home. I don't know what else to do here. These are 3 of the sites that I consulted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78gJwOhSyio&feature=related http://www.trainsignaltraining.com/windows-server-2008-ftp-user-authentication http://lifehacker.com/#!130806/how-to-set-up-a-home-ftp-server Any help will be greatly appreciated.
