Need help recovering files from hard drive (other computer)?
So here's the deal. In a rush to make the luggage maximum weight I had to leave the desktop behind. I took out only the HD and have installed it in the new home computer. However, the files that I need were not shared so I can only access the shared files right now. When I try to access my files the message I get is "F:\Documents and Settings\Denny is not accessible Access is denied" I have tried to boot from the old HD but it will not boot. Any suggestions on how to get to the files? We all used the "User Accounts" options and mine was passworded and files set to private. Help?1 person needs an answerI do too

All you need to do is take ownership of the files.
