Need Help entering UAC
Hello, So after screaming at my computer cursing my foolishness for exploring the UAC panel, I decided to ask here. I cannot run anything on my machine that requires admin rights and I cannot get into UAC because it requires admin password etc. Problem is that neither of my accounts on this box will let me in. I have a local user as well as a network user that signs in through a vpn to a network. Neither account grants me admin rights but both accounts were created as admins. I want to know if there is anyway of temporarily bypasssing admin rights or turning off UAC without knowing the password/account name combo. I really don't want to flatten this machine so any advice would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information please ask

Hi, Can you tell me why the admin accounts do not have admin rights? If the account is created as admin, it should have permission to access UAC. If there is administrator account, I suggest you login on the machine with administrator account and add the problematic account to local Administrators group. Otherwise, I suggest you refer to the following article to Elevate the permission. UAC in Windows 7 Thanks, Novak
