Native Flash Player
Why does it take Microsoft so long to release Flash player updates when Adobe has already released them over 8 hours ago, (please don't say time difference)

Just a guess, but could it be that once Adobe have released it, MS then need to update, test, and then finally release that update for their built in version!

Hi,

Since it is a third party plug-in and all use rights are hosted by Adobe, Microsoft cannot release the update package at the first time. Please download from Adobe for the newest version. And since it would be option update (not security update), if there is a patch from Microsoft, it should be released on next patch day.

Thanks for the reply, I mentioned in the title Windows 8.1, Adobe doesn't provide direct updates for native flash player in Windows 8 or 10 and I didn't want to use another browser such as chrome.

Thanks for that, I think I'd have preferred it if you said it was the time zone difference! Perhaps I should just use Chrome......
