Win XP, have 2 dos programs which display NTVDM has encountered a system error when opened. 1 program will work when I type ignore, the other will not. At same time computer is running so slow until I actually can open a (non-dos) program. When I open Task Mgr, System Idle Process is @ 97+. When I Run command.com, I get similar NTVDM System Error c0h...This all occurred after the last Microsoft Windows update 1/22/10. I tried to uninstall this update, but couldn't find Cum Sec. Update for Internet Exp. 8 for WinXp KB978207 in my program list. How can I repair NTVDM.exe?2 people need an answerI do too
