hi , I have a windows 7 machine, When I try to do a NSLookup, it works fine and gives me a correct ip address. When I ping it , it dosent work, Wireshark with ping shows me something as LLMR response and stops.... If I do an FQDN, my ping works but for non FQDN ping dosent work while NSLOOKUP works.

You may not configure DNS suffix yet.
