NIC Fails after Windows 7 Service Pack 1
I am setting up a new HP Windows 7 Pro 64-bit computer for a client. It connected to the network until I installed Service Pack 1 today. Now it says something like unknown network and does not obtain an IP address. Device Manager says the
network adapter is working properly. Do i need to uninstall Service Pack 1? Thank you.

Before I could work on updating the drivers, I found that the DHCP server had failed. Once I resolved that problem, the computer did connect to the network. Thank you for the suggestion.
