NFS problem in Windows 7
In Windows 7 Ultimate, when using NFS, it fails with error 53 if the server is not running the lockd daemon, even if the client is mounting with the nolock option. This used to work with an XP client. C:\>mount -o nolock 10.10.1.200:/foo Z: Network Error - 53 Type 'NET HELPMSG 53' for more information.

Hi, Network error 53: The network path was not found. I suggest you use Ping with remote server to check what the result is. Meanwhile, please try Windows \\server\share format to mount. You can refer to the following links: Understanding the Client for NFS component Mounting an NFS shared resource to a drive letter Administering Client for NFS Hope it helps.
