NEW log-on window at start up that was not there before.
A couple of weeks ago a new log-on window appeared at startup of my computer. "log on to WindowsUser name: HP-AdministratorPassword: ---------I hit OK and the computer continues to boot up but it won't do that until I hit OK so have to stay at my computer for it to be ready to go. Slows me down each day - where did it come from? and how do I get rid of it and be sure that I can access my computer. I did not set it up this way.I have an HP Pavillion 1630 - Windows XP Media cenmtre Edition 2005

after reading that I am assuming that it was changed as my wireless network was set up? for my husband's computer. So maybe I should leave well enough alone?

I've never seen a home wireless network that needs the NetWare client, and I don't see any mention of "wireless" in the Microsoft Support article. Go ahead and delete it.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
