Hi ZACHARIYA, - What’s the program that is on the CD? What exactly are you trying to install? This is likely a problem with the program on the CD, but I suggest you try reinstalling the .NET Framework and check. Here’s the link for you to download the Standalone package of .NET Framework.Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) Regards,Divya R – Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

Hi ZACHARIYA,1. Are you able to open CD using Windows Explorer?2. Does it happen only with a particular CD or with all CD’s?3. Since when are you facing this issue?4. Were there any changes made prior to this issue?5. Have you updated your system with the latest updates released by Microsoft? Step 1:Remove the traces of .Net framework from your computer and then install .Net framework components through Windows Update or by a standalone package and then check if you come across the issue.http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspxStep 2:Refer to the steps outlined in the below link to keep your computer up to date. How to keep your Windows computer up-to-date?http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311047 Regards,Manasa P – Microsoft Support.
