NEED HELP OBTAINING CLIENT FOR MICROSOFT NETWORKS / HAVE LOST NETWORK CONNECTION
Hi,I recently made the mistake of clicking uninstall for Client for Microsoft Networks in my LAN properties... Don't ask. Anyway, I need to reinstall it, but it is not visible in the "Connection Uses Following Items" pane, or anywhere else in the install section. I tried searching my XP disk for something, but didn't have any luck. So what's the scoop? Everything I've found so far on the web just says recheck the box by the item, or re-install it, but it's no where to be found to do so. Help?!1 person needs an answerI do too

Gwyllen, I sure hope you've figured this out by now. If not, here's how to reinstall. Go into Control Panel and double-click Network Connections. Double-click on the Local Area Connection icon and choose Properties. If Client for Microsoft Networks is not there, simply click the Install button, then click Client, then choose Add. If it's not in the list, click Have Disk and put in your XP disk and follow the prompts. Barbara

"If it's not in the list, click Have Disk and put in your XP disk and follow the prompts." Barbara:I've tried this and there are no prompts provided - other than browsing for a file. Is there a particular .inf that I should locate? I tried netmscli.inf but the system that didn't work. Thanks in advance.Aaron
