NAS problems
I am running Windows 7 on two computers and Windows XP on a laptop. I have two NAS drives which worked awhile ago while I was with Comcast internet, but now I hace Clear Internet and the same NAS drives are not recognized. I have tried both static and dynamic IP addresses to no avail. I have a Liksys WRT54Gv1 router with a number of ethernet switches. Is there a limited number of wired ethernet ports wintin Windows 7? maybe this is the problems I don't know. Richard N Hinton rhinton512@yahoo.com

Hi, Can the NAS drive be accessed on Windows XP or other machine? What do you mean about the limited number of wired Ethernet ports on Windows 7? At this stage, I suggest you run a Ping test to the NAS drive. Can you access it? If not, please remove the NAS drive and re-setup the drive again for a test. For more information about NAS, please refer to the link below: Windows Powered NAS - News & Reviews Archives If there is any error message, please capture the window and upload it for research. Thanks, Novak
