NAS drive not accessable
On my laptop, which is wirelessly connected to my home network, I cannot access my Network Attached Drive (NAS) which is a Buffalo Linkstation. The computer can see it and it works as a media player OK. However when I try to look at stored files I get asked for a login username and password, neither of which can I remember setting up. I can access it OK from my Desktop computer but not from the laptop. I cannot understand how a password got set. I just need to remove it. How do I do it?

Hi, Please open the NAS admin Web UI and follow the steps: Home >> Access Right Management >> Share Folders and use for the Qmultimedia folder ... Actions -> [Folder Permissions] since the issue is related to a specific device, it is also recommended that you contact Buffalo for further investigation. http://www.buffalotech.com/support/ Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
