My windows 7 crashed - restore won't fix it
HI WIndows 7 crashed and I tried Restore on it and Restore said it could not fix it. The report said that the registry was corrupt. I tried a Repair install from the windows 7 disc - It said that it was fixed but the computer would still not reboot. Any ideas ?? I am thinking I will do reinstall complete just wanted to to save reinstalling everything.

HiTrying to troubleshoot this would probably take more time and be more trouble than simply reinstalling everything. Unfortunately, this is one of the drawbacks to testing apre-release version of an OS.The only thing I can suggest is that you try to remember and document exactly what was done just prior to the system crashing, and try not to repeat that situation.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
