My system recently was restored after a Security essentials 2010 Rogue attack. After getting control of the system back, I immediately updated Trend Micro security software. So there are a couple variables here although TM support says it is not TM after going through some debug steps. As it stands, when I try to enter Hibernate and sometimes Standby from the Start Button/Shutdown pop up window, the system will begin the process of Hibernating with the light blue screen but then the process stops and my normal desktop comes back. It doesn't matter if there are several applications running or no applications running in the task bar.1 person needs an answerI do too
