My anti-virus program keeps shutting off. I suspected I may have a virus, so I ran a deep scan, cleaner, blah, blah, and my anti-virus keeps shutting itself off. What is my next step? Iwas using Avast free virus protection, and Malwarebytes, but neither one found anything "suspicious" or virus. I uninstalled Avast, and loaded Microsoft Security Essentials, did a FULL scan and it found 5 threats. I removed the threats, but my anti-virus keeps shutting itself off. any ideas? 1 person got this answerI do too
