I slam my finger down on the left click and it will click then, otherwise no. Other times it will double click off a single click. Only happens with left click, right click is perfect. I have checked the double click settings in the mouse settings. I have reinstalled my Logitech LX7 optical mouse's software several times. Upgraded it, nothing. It was doing this for about 3 months, then stopped for 2-3 weeks, and came back as of today. The only thing I can think of that I did differently was I didn't play a video game in windowed mode. (-w in find target) I played it in windowed for the first time in many weeks, and now it has come back. I've stopped playing in windowed mode, and it hasn't gone away. I've reinstalled the driver for my mouse several times. Unplugged it, moved it to a different usb port. It's not my mouse because it does it with my factory trackball mouse too.2 people need an answerI do too

i am getting similar effects with my logitech G7. when opening dropdowns, or selecting check boxes, a single click often acts as if i had clicked twice. if i click and hold for a brief momen (< 1 sec) it behaves normally. have done the reinstalling, malware checks etc. no change. does not always happen, but often enough

hmm. checked to see if the single click as double click was enabled. it was not. i will be bummed if i have to buy a new mouse, i really like this one. seems to work fine in ubuntu tho...edit:...nevermind. crapped out on linux today. *sigh*
