my scroller was working just fine, and then it stopped all of a sudden. I read to go to the mouse and wheel on the control panel, but there seems to be no wheel button on the mouse properties. Someone please help?

Some manufacturers have separate touchpad driver utilities that are loaded automatically and display in your systeem notification area. (the area by your clock) You didnt mention your laptop model, but have a look there for a touchpad utility and if so open it. Most of the times you face this problem in Lenovo laptops. Just reinstall the touchpad driver utility. Regards, SAM
