im running a Windows 7 Toshiba Qosmio X505 Q894 I dont know why but it says something like my DNS isnt working properly and i want to fix it, i think its my router which is a Linksys WRT54G, because when i dont have my linksys connected it works sometimes, what i do to fix this is disconnect my router and modem and reconnect but sometimes that doesnt always work

Just a thought, is your router set to dhcp? Is security features like wpa/wep and ssid apply? If it is, ensure both notebook and router shares the same wpa/wep as well as ssid. You might also want to consider changing the router channel as well as updating the router firmware if still no go after trying the above suggestion
