My domain user login needs administrative access on my Vista notebook
I have added my Vista notebook to our corporate domain and I have logged into the notebook using my domain account. The account is set to be a local administrator and is part of the local administrative group. BUT, when I log in, I have no access to administrative tools and configuration tools, including things like Personalize and Control Panel and when I try to run control from the start button, I am told I have no permission. My local user account on the machine has all admin rights. I tried logging in as the domain administrator and had all admin rights. My domain user, however, does not. So, I am unable to get to control panel to set up myExchange connection and other things. How do I make my domain user account an administrator of my computer?
