My display is getting out of sync; could it be caused by a recent Windows 8.1 update?

My computer in question, was running since Windows 8 Developer Preview with a display resolution equals to 16801050 without any issue. Starting this last sunday, it presents a display sync problem: none of the resolutions equals to or greater than 1600 (width) is stable; the display gets out of sync, using either hardware acceleration or software rendering.

Currently, I'm using 1360768 with hardware acceleration.

As MS is testing hardware for compatibility with Win10, the problem may be some new setting, or even a hardware problem caused by a new setting.

Can MS engineers tell me if I can have my display (drived by NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430) be set again with a resolution of 16801050?

Thanks for clearing out my doubts.

this issue maybe caused

1. your hardware driver need to be upgrade to latest version or need to be reinstall (find at your PC manufactured site)

ask Nvidia for newer driver

2. because or driver compatibility your PC not ready yet for Windows 8.1 or newer (check at your PC manufactured site)

3. If you are using WIDI, After upgrading, the WiDi function of some Intel Wireless Cards will not be supported

try to adjust setting using software from NVIDIA
