My defrag doesn't work anymore, any help?
When I go to the defrag screan and click on a hard drive (there are 2 installed and running) the drive high-lights with the blue bar. When I then click on "analyze" or "defrag", the blue bar just flashes once and nothing happens. This is the case with both hard drives. When done under my computer and then selecting the drive and properties, the same result... nothing... Defrag used to work... any ideas why it doesn't now????2 people need an answerI do too

I have the same problem except for instead of flash, mine does nothing. Try booting into safe mode and logging on as administrator.to boot into safe mode: Start/Run type:MSCONFIG then on the boot tab select safeboot. then apply enter and yes to reboot.at the log in screen log on to the Administrator account (even if your account is an administrator account, well, mine is and I have to use THE Administrator account) now try to run your defrag as you normally would. Here is a temporary fix to a problem I haven solved yet.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
