My computer shutdowns auto?
Hello.. u maybe wonder how i can write this bcuz my computer is shuttingdown auto... I'm running safe mode with networking.. Ok.. So this is my problem If i start my PC and goto the desktop.. Than i need to goto the taskmanger and quit all unkown tasks... Because someone of them is the problem of my computer shuttingdown.. Please is this a virus how can i take it away PLEASE HELP ME :( I have work and stuffs in my computer //Matt

Hello Matt - Sorry to hear your computer is shutting down automatically. A couple of questions for you: 1) When did this start happening? 2) Do you have Anti-Virus software installed on your computer? 3) Did this specific issue start happening after installing updates from Windows Update? This happend yesterday.... And yes... I got anti-Virus! I got microsoft essentials.. And no this didn't happend when the update was coming..

Hi, Do you mean that the issue also occurs in Safe Mode with networking? If not, please test the issue again in Safe Mode and see how it works. Also, please try the following: 1. Scan your system for Virus. 2. Check if there is any related trace in Event Viewer. 3. Check if it is added in Task Scheduler. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support
