My computer shows two different type of processor at different points which is the right one? Should I upgrade to x64 Windows 8.1?
My computer shows "System Type: x86 based system" when I used the method of typing "msinfo32" into Run: (Picture below)

but when I check that by opening the properties of my PC is shows "x64 based processor": (Picture below)

Why is that? Why does it show two different types?
If my processor is 64bit processor, is it possible to upgrade to x64 windows 8.1 without a clean install? and will I have to download and install all the updates? also I received a upgrade offer to windows 10, will i loose that offer too?
( I have whitened out my personal information in the pictures provided)

You are running 32 bit.  Your cpu can PROBABLY run 64 bit. You must do a clean install to change from 32 bit to 64.  You are eligible to upgrade to win 10 and you will get what ever you are running.  If you are running 32 bit when you upgrade you will get 32 bit

You can run this to find out if your cpu can run 64 bit  https://www.grc.com/securable.htm
