My computer is geting hung up on the log in screen with some weird cursor movement.
I am running Windows XP on an HP XW8200. When I start the computer up and it get to the log in page, 4 cursors appear and they slowly move to the upper left corner of the monitor as they flicker. I don't ahve any mouse control, I have tried different nouses and the area where it poinits to shows a faded white circle (it kinda looks like how your computer would look if you placed a magnet right next to it and it distorted your screen). THis was working fine yesterday and I did not install anything or hook anything up to it prior to starting the computer up today. I should note that this computer is hooked to a video editing system and has all sorts of specialized video cards and connections to it. I am not sure if this is a CPU, OS, or editing peripheral problem. Any ideas?1 person got this answerI do too

it certainly sounds like a video adapter problem. Have there been any updates on the system recently?I would check updates and uninstall any that were installed recently. Also check your manf. website for the video adapters driver and update anything that needs to updated.
