My computer has identified the presents of viruses on my system, but I seem not to be able to remove them
McAfee has identified that there is a trojonvirus issue, however my system seems not to be able to remove the virus. The internet also freezes. I am able to communicate these issues because I am working under my wifes ID, which is on the same computer. However, under my ID everything is frozen.

Attention Will: Are you running as an administrative authority, or administrator? Your wife is probably a user and that is why her account is not affected. Most malware siezes control of the administrative control in Microsoft Management Console and then proceeds to lock you out as an administrator. Always run your account as a user not administrator. Check with Microsoft for the Malware Removal Tool download and try to remove the Malware. Try using Microsoft Security Essentials for a malware/spyware security system after you recapture your controls for an enhanced security system. Add an account to user accounts and make it your account so this does`nt happen again. Try these steps and I think you`ll be on the right track.
