Hi Wolfman69Start by narrowing down the possibilities:HARDWARE:Check the PC is clean, not dusty, and not unusually hot or noisy when running. Check that fans are clean etc.Unplug any external devices other that the keyboard and mouse & monitor. Check what is connected is connected soundly. If the problem then dissapears add devices one at a time to see which is responsible.Run a diskcheckon the hard disk: Click Start, and then Run. In Open, type cmd, and then press ENTER. Type chkdsk volume:/r, and then press ENTER (volume being the drive letter windows is installed upon) If the diskcheck has to recover information, the physical disk may have issues. SOFTWARE:Check the Event Logs for signs of trouble:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427Look for Errors & Warnings in the system logGood Luck!
