My c:/temp drive is filling up
Help! My c:/temp drive is filling up by about 10GB per day with files called FLTxxxx.tmp. There seem to be about 10 files per minute created. Many are 1-15KB each, but suddenly I get 10MB files created. I recently installed Office 2010, including Excel's PowerPivot add-in. Could this be related? The reason I am suspicious of Excel is because of the contents of the files. Here's the first few lines of one sample file:<?xml version="1.0"?><?mso-application progid="Excel.Sheet"?><Workbook xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet" xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:excel" xmlns:ss="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet" xmlns:html="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40">...Plus it only seems to happen while I have Excel open. I have seen Windows warnings (sorry, neglected to screen cap last time) which warn about Indexing running. Is there something I can try turning off? 1 person needs an answerI do too
