My built-in wireless has completely disappeared from my computer and there in no WLAN only LAN, is there a way to get it back?
There is no wlan and wireless icon in view window is gone.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Curious211, Thanks for posting. This is often due to a switch on the laptop or the card itself being turned to the off position. Please check and verify that the switch is in the correct position. After this check and make sure the connection is enabled. Click Start and navigate to My Network Places . Right click on this and select Properies . This should open a window with all your network connections enabled. Find your wireless connection and right click it. If you see "Enable " then select this. If you see "Disable " then do nothing. If the switch is set to the on position and the connection is enabled then go to the maufacturer website and download and install the latest drivers, reboot and see if you now see your icon. If you are still having issue then contact your manufacturer to test if the hardware is functioning correctly.
