My battery works perfectly with XP, but after upgrade to Windows 7, it runs down. Reinstalled XP and everything is ok now.
My battery was 95 to 100% before Windows 7 install. Ran down to 21% after Windows 7 install. Uninstalled Windows 7 and reinstalled Windows XP and everything is 95 to 100% again. I do think there is a REAL bug in the program!!! Dell Inspiron E-1505 Laptop.

Which one? The Windows XP reporting agent or the Windows 7 reporting agent? And when you clean installed Windows 7 - did you get the latest drivers for your motherboard, etc from Dell?
