My Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit keeps shutting down.
This is my Configuration... Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 ECS IC780M-A Motherboard - AMD 770, Socket AM2+, ATX, DDR2, Dual Channel, PCIe, RAID AMD Phenom X4 9850 Quad Core Processor HD9850XAJ4BGH - 2.50GHz, 4MB Cache, 2000MHz (4000 MT/s) FSB, Agena, Quad-Core, OEM, Socket AM2+, Processor 2 Patriot PSD22G80026 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 Memory - 800MHz, 1x2048MB, Non-ECC, Unbuffered PowerColor AX5450 2GBK3-SH Radeon HD 5450 Go Green! Series Video Card - 2GB, GDDR3, PCI-Express 2.1, Dual-Link DVI, HDMI, VGA, DirectX 11, Single-Slot, Low Profile 1TB Seagate ST31000520AS ATA Device (SATA) Memorex 16X DL DVD+R DVD+RW Burner Hauppauge - WinTV VHR USB This is the issue I'm having... The previous system shutdown at 4:45:25 PM on ‎1/‎14/‎2012 was unexpected. It's totally random. Some days the computer shuts down several time an hour. Some times it will run several days without issue. I use the computer to encode a shoutcast audio feed of MSNBC which I get from my Hauppauge - WinTV VHR USB . The The previous system shutdown at 4:45:25 PM on ‎1/‎14/‎2012 was unexpected. error is the only thing I am getting in the Windows logs. I don't know where to begin looking to troubleshoot this. I could try a rebuild but think the issue will continue. Any Ideas? Thanks

Overheating issue not an issue. Computer is 3 months old. Room is 70 degrees Computer has 4 fans. CPU is runing 144F Thanks

144F=60C This is a trigger temp for many motherboards - check the settings on the motherboard. A machine with that many fans should be runnning a lot lower than that unless under pressure.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth
