This virus, “My Security Engine”, showed up today on my wife’s and my daughter’s Laptops. They both are running Vista. My desktop has XP-Pro and it didn’t show up on it. Does anyone know if the removal instructions on www.bleepingcomputer.com really work?

you are a Godsend Steve!! I believe completing the microsoft scan has removed the My Security Engine from my computer. I was getting really frustrated because no other programs for removal would work and I am not comfortable with the manual removal. Thanks!!
