When ever I connect to the internet , I saw my bandwidth meter showing loads of download. So watched the network activity in ESET and found out SVCHOST.exe is the culprit. I temporarily dissallows network for the file using eset. That solves the problem for the time, but it comes again the next time i restart. No, I cannot set the network disabled for this file permanently coz eset does not allow to change the options of this system file. I suspect the problem is of Windows update. But I have disabled my automatic updates. I need help..... plz..1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Need4help, Thanks for posting. Can you uninstall ESET and see if the problem is still there. If the issue is not there after unisntalling ESET you will need to contact them and see if they have a workaround or a newer version.
