My PC w/Windows XP(SP3) will not recognized my Apple Airport Extreme as my network connection.
I have a 2001 Dell with Windows XP(SP3) and a MacBook. I recently replaced my Linksys Router with an Apple Airport Extreme. My MacBook has never been faster and recognizes the (wired) printer that I have connected to the AE. My Dell does not recognize that I have replaced the Linksys with the AE and does not allow me access to anything plugged into it, other than connecting me to the internet. How can I make Windows XP recognize the AE as my network connection?1 person needs an answerI do too

I have an Airport Extreme connected to my DSL modem. I'm accessing it wirelessly (Airport card) in my Mac Mini, and a MacBook Pro. Both work fine. When I switch the MBP over to Windows XP, it works fine. When I switch the Mini to XP, it sees the Airport Extreme, but will not allow me to connect to it. Says something about the WEP being wrong, and asks me to define a 5 bit or 13 bit password. The password set up on my Airport (Mac side) is 6 characters. I've tried the Mac-side password, and it doesn't work. I have no idea what other information to tell you. Any ideas?
