My Outlook Express Sending Emails I Didn't Send

I use Outlook Express. The past month my friends have been receiving messages from me that I did not send. The messages include a link for people to click on. I now have Microsoft Anti-Virus running, but still these messages are being sent that I did not send. How do I fix this? Thanks, Diane

You were running your computer with no anti-virus? Start by downloading and running this tool. Make sure you get the free version.

I had McAfree until just the other day. But it never showed I had any virus, so my sister suggested I go and get the Microsoft's Anti-Virus stuff. I installed it to replace my other anti-virus. But yesterday my sister told me my email account was still sending out emails by itself. Should I still go to the site you included in your reply and run that? Thank you, Diane

Absolutely get it and run it. It's not real-time protection, but it will find any Trojan that may have slipped by McAfee. Keep the tool and run it once in a while.
This isn't for your phantom mail issue, but you need to run this tool to get all the McAfee junk off your machine.
