My Network Places crashes Windows explorer
When I click on My Network Places, Explorer hangs and an error message comes upWindows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. All other running programmes on my PC seem unaffected. If I then go to task manager and end task My Network Places, Explorer closes down then restarts going back to normal operation. The network seems to be working fine, with access out to a router, a network printer, and other computers can access a shared printer and files. This problem arose about some months ago, and could be connected to the installation of a wireless network printer, a Samsung CLP-315W, with its associated software. But I now want to connect a new laptop through My Network Places. My PC is running XP sp3Any ideas?1 person needs an answerI do too
