My Network Connections folder fails to open. I am running XP Pro.
When I double click the Network Connections Icon in Control Panel. It does not open but invokes a Microsoft Error reporting alert. Can anyone explain how I can recover access to the Network Connections folder? DaveJB.1 person needs an answerI do too

Do you have the same problem if you click on 'my Network Places'?

I can open My Network Places down to the three screen Icon but when I try to open this a message appears telling me I do not have access. Further comments would be appreciated.

Hi, The 3 screen icon 'View workgroup Computers" ? If you are receiving the message when clicking on this icon, then you are either not on the same workgroup or the firewall is blocking you or your tcp/ip Subnet mask is not the same as the other PC/s on the network.
