My laptop DELL XP - will not boot... NTLDr is missing. I have the windows recovery disc. It wants an adminIstrator password. I DO NOT HAVE ONE.It is my computer. I have bought it new and to the best of my memory there always has been only one password - the one I use daily. It will not accept it. I do not know/remember any other. What to do?2 people need an answerI do too

it will go no further then enter password and it says invalid when i enter the only password that i used since new. after three trys the pc shuts down. it will not start any disc before,after,or in between. i welcome more ideas.
