Hii i am using windows 7 and i have 2 user accounts one for me and other for my bro now when i am downloading something i go away and lock my computer and when my bro comes he sign in with his account immediately the internet disconnects and he has to re connect as well as the files which i was downloading also got aborted so i need that if i am connected to internet in my account and when my bro comes and log in in his account he should find that internet is already connected and it should not disconnects in my account i think this prob was not there in vista i donno weather its a prob with win 7 or any of my setting please sort it out with regards kutub Kutbi Nahar

This issue can be caused by the network driver. I suggest that you download the latest driver and install it. However, since currently most drivers are for Windows Vista, some of them may not work properly in Windows 7. i didn't encounter the issue after uninstallavg free version as mentioned in this http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itpronetworking/thread/bac9c211-4a53-4e16-8435-bcdf63d46591..i'll be trying the avast free editon and see if the problem occurs again..
