Hi , I Encrypted My Drive With Bitlocker and save it's key on USB and key save as a txt file , my drive formatted accidentally , now i use repair-bde like ---> repair-bde D: -nov -rp 11111-111111... -force and it's go to scanning for banouring metadata after it's complete it says use a keypack drive is unrecoverable(something like this) , what is a key pack ? how i should create it? if it's same txt file that bitlocker save it on my USB flash drive it doesnt work. what should i do , i lost all photo taken for 5 years , please help me , EMERGENCY ,

Restore from backup. That's your only option.

Bitlocker should not allow to format the drive , it's password protected , F-_-K

Hi Mohsen, BitLocker is just a feature to encrypt the drive. However, if the user would like to format the drive, BitLocker feature cannot prevent the encrypted drive to be formatting. After formatting, the BitLocker feature will also disappear since the formatted drive is a new drive. If you would like to recover the data, you have to use some third party software to recover it, such as Easy Recovery. Thanks, Novak
