My Documents Naming Issue
I have 2 PCs in a workgroup. I have moved the My Documents folder to a NAS device (separate disk drive). These PCs are always connected to the network. There are multiple user accounts on each PC (they are the same accounts on both PCs).When I look at the My Documents Properties, it says the path is:\\NASDevice\Data\BobWhen I look at the Libraries -> Documents -> My Documents folder, the path is:\\NASDevice\Data\BobI also have \\NASDevice\Datamapped to the N: driveIf I look at the folders under N:\ I just see multiple folders that are called My Documents (one for each user)Is there any way to have these folders say their names (like Bob) instead of My Documents when access by the mapped drive? It is confusing to have a lot of My Documents folders ina directory instead of the user's account name.

This behavior is by design. If you redirect the folder in folder properties to another location, the name of the location folder will also be replaced. You can manually change the name to Bob again.Arthur Xie - MSFT

I have the same issue with over 1300 users, is there an easy way to rename it or to stop windows from renaming it?
