My Cursor won't press Start or Close tabs on Windows 8.1

Hi ,yesterday I did something in my settings but can not really remember what it was, I then wanted to exit my desktop to the Main Start ,but was not able to. I am totally capable of adding, dragging and so on, but I can't drag my cursor to the top of the screen and remove a tab, neither can I select the Start button to open.

The only way I can do these things is to literally use the touch screen itself.

Please help me fix this, I have tried everything and really getting irritated...

When you press Start icon in your keyboard, does it opens the start?

If you able to open start, search for System Restore and restore back to the time before problem started.

Hi Chrisvosloo935,

System Restore uses restore points to return your system files and settings to an earlier point in time without affecting personal files.
For more information, please refer to the following article.
